To achieve this qualification, 20 units of competency must be completed comprising of 15 core units and 5 elective units.

Course Entry Requirements

No formal prerequisites are necessary for enrolling in this course. However, it is expected that candidates possess sound English reading and writing skills. Additionally, students must have access to a computer, the internet, and an active email address. Proficiency in computer usage and typing is essential for the successful completion of assignments. Learners must also be at least 18 years of age when commencing study.

Due to the nature of employment outcomes and working in the community services sector, you must obtain a National Police Clearance prior to commencing your study.

Duration and Structure

The course duration is 12 months and self-paced, with access to our online Learning Management System. You will
be assigned a trainer/assessor who will assist throughout your course completion.
