To achieve this qualification, 10 units of competency must be completed comprising of 5 core units and 5 elective units.

Course Entry Requirements

There are formally prescribed course entry requirements for this qualification. Candidates wishing to undertake the training must hold one of the following qualifications:

  • CPP40707 Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management, or
  • CPP40719 Certificate IV in Security Management, or
  • CPP41519 Certificate IV in Security Risk Analysis.

It is also expected that candidates possess sound English reading and writing skills. Additionally, students must have access to a computer, the internet, and an active email address. Proficiency in computer usage and typing is essential for the successful completion of assignments.

The course duration is 12 months and self-paced, with access to our online Learning Management System. You will be assigned a trainer/assessor who will assist throughout your course completion.
